No really for the one in belanger
They messed up our order and even after reminding them forgot again. The communication was odd as my dish included a drink, however she recommended drinks that were actually not part of the deal. So I ended up not getting the free drink but paying for another. Food was alright. I enjoyed it. Conclusion: one drink missing, one dish missing, one drink paid and generally a lack of service, food was good enough, the service we got was friendly, but not helpful. The restaurant was not busy at the time...
The restaurant had a broken window with a sign to have caution. I do hope they get this fixed sooner rather than later. Came here during the holidays with the family. Attentive service and good Salvadorian food. If only they can improve their aesthetics this place can give other Salvadorian restaurants a run for their money. Overall, it was a good experience.
Took the family back, after a long time of not visiting and was highly disappointed. The prices went up and this I understand because inflation, but when your kids can't go to the toilet because the toilet seat is missing( something that can easily be bought and replaced) and when you happen to find a cockroach next to your table then I don't see why the price should go up if the maintenance went way down! Surely it will be my last visit .....
The food is super good, bathroom is clean, nice staff.
Very good pupusas, bit warm in the restaurant.
Amazing pupusas! I had never been to a pupusas place that had pupusas combos! We had the super family special #1 - 12 pupusas, a corn tamale, fried sweet plantain, chicharron with yuca, and a pitcher of horchata. Lots of food for a great price. It was just under $60.
Good food. Take out didn't give any dressings with the pupusas.
Awesome place. Food is tasty on the tongue and light on the pocket.
Delicious food, very good service.
Have been going here for a long time, always the best food !
I've been coming here regularly for years. Best pupusas in Montreal, by far. Great brunches, horchata, and family specials. Love their hot sauce. Great service. All around gem!
Simple, no frills restaurant that serves good pupusas. Great service too.
Affordable and delicious
Delicious salvadorian confort food
Good food
If you’re looking to try salvadorian food, this is it! Don’t expect a high culinary experience, they’ll serve you in a very basic environment but food is good.
Delicious and authentic food. Tastes like homemade food.
Food wasnt so bad... Coffee was cold and found a lump of hair with the tortillas. That is why a 2 stars was given.
Very nice traditional salvadorian food.
Food is amazing in this cozy restaurant that is now part of its growing Latin American growing community. I have always introduced and recommended it to people of other ethnic origins, for it has amazing typical food from El Salvador. It also has take-out, an absolute must for people on tight schedules.
If I think about PUPUSAS the only place that can satisfy that craving is Los Planes.Freshly made with love from mamis cucina to your happy belly. Best PUPUSAS in montreal. Been going there for years and the quality is always as per stardard
Pupusas very amazing! The menu was explained to us with lot of compassion and love
To whom it may concern, I did not enjoy my meal there at all. The food was alright so comments on the chef, but the service... As a woman of color I did not feel welcome at all. Especially Patricia, she was clearly not happy to serve me because of my skin color. Everyone else at my table noticed how she different with me and anybody else of the same color. In this day an age, in this country this is just unacceptable. Someone needs to teach this lady sole sensibility training or just to respect hard earning customer’s time and money.Thank you for allowing me to provide feedback.
Very good food! Excelent service! Very cozy and familiar atmosphere! I will go back for sure.. the prices are very affordable and the food delicious! I have loved the pupusas and breakfast options! Delicioso!
Bad service very rude waitress towards a client of color. I witnessed her being racist. I will never go back, those types of behaviors should not be acceptable!
Very well served and delicious pupusas. Just like mexican gorditas it's a variation just in name same Latin prehispanic food. They could improve in the nachos taste.
Awesome spot, came here on a whim. Pleasantly surprised. Great spot for a family to sit and enjoy a meal together. From ours to yours thank you. We loved every moment.
Delicious pupusas. Highly recommend this place.
Food was amazing, fresh and full of flavor! the owner took her time to explain everything to me as it was my first time eating Salvadoran food. I'll definitely be going back there
The food is delicious and authentic. The service is really slow because it’s usually ONE person doing it all: taking orders, cooking, cleaning up and cash. If you’re in no hurry and don’t mind slow service, this place is for you.
I love this place, been going there for almost 10 years. Nothing pretentious, very traditional. If you want the real thing, this is the place to go. My favourite pupusas place in Montreal.
Very authentic, familial and down-to-earth Salvadorean eatery. The pupusas are absolutely delicious and cost... $3.30 a piece (with 2 pupusas being sufficient for a meal). Not many other places where you could buy a good meal for $6.60... Other more generous options are available as well. A great trip to Central America!
Great breakfast. Great staff.
Great pupusas and an overall really enjoyable dining experience! Good value!
The pupusas are OK, the Yuca is the best with chicharron! Next time try their combo!price are $
I eat breakfast here. I love it . only negative some flies. Maybe some roaches. But otherwise great.
Went there with the family one Friday night. Is it me or the tacos (round ones) are getting smaller and smaller each year? I mean there is no meat in these things anymore, it's just a crusty shell. This is annoying! Anyway, overall the food was great and service decent. Although the waitress forgot some orders on two occasions in the same night.
I love this restaurant and come here all the way from downtown every chance I get. The food is always delicious and big portions! I'm never disappointed and the people who work there are the nicest I've met. Highly recommended!
Honestly the food is pretty good here. I like that it’s a local joint serving authentic salvadorien cuisine. I gave it 3 stars because the service is lacking... every time I come in. The restaurant had 3 tables when I arrived (not busy) and I had already been waiting 10 mins for someone to take my order. I’m patient because I work in the industry but what was upsetting was that two other tables sat after me and their orders were taken before mine probably because they were of the same cultural background.
Price was very reasonable food was good.
People should know how awesome Salvadorian food is. I am so glad that I can have good pupuzas here in Montreal.
I came in off the street and was surprised on all levels. Every bite was amazing. New customer for sure!
Love this place always delicious and the Mexican waiters excellent service
Good food, excellent service!!! +many gluten free dishes as they traditionally use corn instead of wheat
Awesome food, great prices. Friendly staff too
Pupusas are really good. So is the service.
Good food, but the service, while friendly, is so so painful. One of our dishes arrived at least 10 minutes before all the others, and no, it wasn't an appetizer! I also learned 15 minutes after ordering the beef tacos that they only had chicken left. They also need to work on some of the basics like refilling our water glasses, or bringing us a jar of spicy slaw like all the other tables had. We had to ask for both these things. The icing on the cake was having to wait several minutes for the Interac machine because it was "busy". What is this?If this was the only Salvadoran place in a 1km radius I would say try it, but there are just better options all around.
Authentication and flavors!
Once again delicious popusas.
Standard Salvadoran fair with a quality that is more stable than at other similar places. Their pupusas are their specialty but they also have very good and hearty beef stock soups. Service is hit or miss depending on the waiter but they're pretty consistent in the kitchen.
